New Price - Vancouver House Rental for 2010 Olympics Our home is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom two-level detached house, recently renovated and fully modern. It sleeps up to 7 comfortably. The bedrooms are on the top floor, as are two bathrooms (one is ensuite to the master bedroom). From the master bedroom you can see the snow-capped coastal mountains. Laundry facilities are also upstairs (front-loading washer & dryer), as is a high-quality step-climbing machine for exercising.
On the main floor is an office (including computer, fax machine, scanner, printer & copier), a living room with cozy gas fireplace, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and den with 32" flat screen and cable TV/DVD. The den also has a comfortable queen-sized sofa bed. Wireless high-speed internet is included, as are all other utilities.
Our house is very clean and comfortable and we're sure that you will enjoy your stay. But the best feature our home offers is an excellent location for visiting Vancouver and attending Olympic events. Use Google Earth to check out how close we are to venues and transportation! (search for the intersection of King Edward and Cambie streets) We can assure you that we are truly walking distance to many venues, and literally steps away from excellent bus service and subway access to the rest. We also have a pharmacy, medical clinic and bank across the lane, should you need these services. We live on a residential street with a beautiful view and friendly neighbours.
Our neighbourhood is called the Cambie Village, and within a few blocks you'll find many restaurants (Chinese, Thai, Japanese, French, Greek, Italian, Creperie, etc.), cafes, bars, upscale grocery stores, supermarket, clothing boutiques and other shops. There is also a first-run cinema just 4 blocks away.
Queen Elizabeth Park is a 10-minute walk away, and smaller parks with indoor exercise facilities are even closer.
We are a 1-minute walk (!) from the King Edward subway station (which takes you to the downtown venues and the Richmond speed skating oval, as well as directly to/from the airport. We're also a 1-minute walk from bus routes leading all over the Lower Mainland, as well as directly to the UBC hockey arena. And if you're into curling, you can walk to the brand-new curling venue in 15 minutes or less.
Rates and Terms:
Available from February 11 - March 1, 2009
Rental fee is $650/night, with a 4-night minimum. For 7 nights or longer a reduced rate can be arranged.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at time of booking.
25% of the payment is due on December 1, 2009 and the balance of payment will be due on arrival.
We also require a 20% damage deposit which will be refunded, with interest, within 48 hours of your stay if there is no damage.
No smoking or pets, please.
