The house is a non smoking, 5000 square foot executive home, with 5 bedrooms (on the upper level) and a 2000 square foot living and kitchen area (main level) and a separate occupied in-law suite (with live-in housekeeper/certified chef onsite). There are heated concrete floors on the main level and hardwood throughout the upstairs. There is also a point of entry water filtration system, supplying filtered water throughout the house.
Main Level is approximately 2000 square feet with a new, stunning, fully equipped, gourmet kitchen replete with a 48 inch Gaggenau refrigerator, Gaggenau in wall convection/steam oven, Wolf duel fuel, six burner range and oven, two under counter Sub-Zero refrigerator doors and an Asko built-in dishwasher. The living room comfortably seats eight to ten people and has a home theatre system with a 100 inch wide drop-down screen and surround sound. There are an additional three large Sony flat screen televisions throughout the home. There is also a wood burning RAIS fire place in the living room and a half bathroom in the front hall.
The Upstairs Level is approximately 2500 square feet with five bedrooms; two with Double beds, one with a Queen bed, and two with King beds. The master suite also has a large balcony, ensuite full bathroom, steam shower and spacious walk-in closet. There is also an adjacent yoga room which can be converting into a nursery per request. On the upstairs level there is also a 1000 square foot playroom and a laundry room. There are two bathrooms upstairs with floor to ceiling travertine tiling, one with a two-person steam shower and the other with a soaker tub and shower.
There is an unobstructed ocean and river front view out towards the gulf islands, floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and large outdoor patio and balcony areas. The home is conveniently located close to UBC, on a quiet, park-like street. Pacific Spirit Park, with over 750 hectares of forest, is just minutes away.

Olympic period (February 11th to March 1st): $50,000 flat fee

Pre-Olympic period (February 1st to February 10th): $20,000 (ten day minimum)
* 50 % Deposit required upon final confirmation of booking (non refundable)
* 25 % Required by September 1st, 2009
* 25 % Balance due January 1st, 2010
* Refundable Damage Deposit of $10,000 due January 1st, 2010 and will be returned within 48 hours of check-out if there is no damage to the property
