Stay in a beautiful high-end home and rent only the rooms you need, rather than a whole home. This is inexpensive for the budget conscious.
Feb 1 to 28 we are offering our private guest house as well as rooms in the main house of this unique West Coast architectural home. Situated in West Vancouver very near the Olympic venue at Cypress Bowl, only 20 minutes to downtown Vancouver and 1.5 hours to Whistler. The bus stop is 1 1/2 blocks away to go downtown, to Park Royal or to Lonsdale Quay (Olympic bus hub & seabus/skytrain access point).
The home is set on 3/4 acres of private forested property with ocean views and high speed wireless internet. Beautiful forest trails abound starting just across the street. We can offer snowshoe rentals, too. Bring your winter boots.
Choose from the following rooms and AVOID the 15% ROOM TAX:
The Cabana: our lovely private guest house has a queen bed, its own deck, microwave, TV/DVD, mini-fridge, coffee maker, kettle, 3 piece ensuite bath and some ocean view. Cdn $145/night for 2 people.
The Grande Room: a large and bright attic room (sleeps up to 3 people) is in its own wing of the main house. Has a queen bed and a daybed. The four-piece private ensuite bath includes a lovely soaker tub. TV and DVD. Cdn $195 for 2 people, $40 per night for an additional person.
The Cozy Corner: is not huge, but not tiny either. Double bed and lots of floor spacee. Located upstairs in its own wing of the house. Shared 4 piece slate and wood bath with heated floors. Cdn $95/night for 2 people.
NOTE: No 15% room tax on our rooms. Delicious meals and snacks can be added, including take-out. Come and be pampered or just have a beautiful place to sleep.

The Fine Print: Minimum 3 night booking, $300 deposit upon booking and balance due 30 days prior to arrival. Payment by e-mail (on-line Interac transfer) or certified cheque. Damage deposit upon arrival of $300 will be refunded one week after departure. Cancelations over 10 days prior will be refunded less a $50 admin fee. If cancelling full or part of booking with notice of 10 days or less, refund depends on re-rental.
Note: there are over 50 stairs between the parking area and the house, but it's worth it.
