Chaldecott Bed and Breakfast
We offer you reasonably priced rooms in a quiet residential location on the west side of Vancouver. While with us, you can soak in the hot tub, enjoy the sauna, or watch the wide-screen TV in the den. Keep up to date with high-speed internet in your room. You can choose breakfast served in the dining room, or self-served in the guest kitchen. Children are welcome.
Chaldecott B&B is in Dunbar, which is 30 minutes by bus to downtown Vancouver, UBC, or the airport (via Canada Line). Dunbar Street is a shopping area just two block away! Restaurants, groceries, banks and shopping are on Dunbar Street, as well as a library and community centre. Buses on Dunbar Street go to UBC, downtown Vancouver, and join the SkyTrain system to the airport and elsewhere. You can walk to UBC in 40 minutes, either on streets or through the forest of Pacific Spirit Park.

The Rooms
All rooms come with a bed, table, night table, lamps, closet or wardrobe, and high-speed internet port.
We'll do our best to accommodate your children as well. We have a crib and additional bedding.
The Sun Room is on the main floor and has a south-facing window, as well as a view of the hot tub room. The en-suite bathroom has a shower and a skylight. The bed is a double. TV included.
The East Room is a very large room on the ground floor; adjacent to the bathroom, and den. It shares the ground floor bathroom, which has a large shower; no bath. There is a queen bed and a sofa bed. TV included.
The West Room is on the ground floor; adjacent to the bathroom, den and kitchen. It shares the ground floor bathroom, which has a large shower; no bath. The double bed is queen length.
The kitchen is for guest use. It has a fridge, electric stove/oven, microwave, kettle, and dishes. Coffee and other basics are provided.
Breakfast is included; either served during breakfast hours in our dining room, or self-served in the kitchen. Let us know what you want for breakfast!
The den has a wide-screen TV and library for guest use.
The hot tub and sauna are available for your enjoyment!
No smoking indoors.
Payment is by cash, Paypal or Postal Money Order
Please submit 30% deposit on approved booking. Remainder due on arrival.
Rates (based on double occupancy):
1 night: $100 per night
2 nights: $90 per night
Additional person (East Room): $30 per night
