My wife and I own a home in Squamish.
Squamish is an ideal location half way between Whistler and Vancouver in a truly spectacular part of the Sea to Sky corridor.
Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in a quiet neighbourhood with stunning Mountain views (Garibaldi and Tantalus ranges, and the world-renowned climbing area at the base of the "Squamish Chief") and let the Stawamus river (one block away) lul you to sleep at night...
Best of all, we are located not even 5min away from downtown Squamish with easy access to transportation, breakfast, dining, the Adventure Center, movie theatres, Starbucks, sports complexes.
We are very near Highway 99 which links Vancouver to Whistler and provides easy access to all venues.
Whistler Nordic centre is an easy 25 minute drive, Whistler Village is a further 10 minutes north. West Vancouvers Cypress Mountain Events
is a 40 minute drive via the newly constructed 4 lane section, and a further 20 minutes to Vancouver event locations.
The house has two floors (about 1000sqft each) with 3bdrms, full bath, kitchen, lvg+dng rm up, and 2bdrms, full bath, kitchen, lvg+dng rm (plus laundry and storage down, Wi-Fi (as well as wired highspeed in most rooms),
42 inch Plasma TV, fireplace, and a scenic back deck (12'x24') that has a fullsize, secure dry storage space underneath for all the toys you might want to bring! This setup comfortably accomodates 8 people.
These two floors can be used as two separate suites, with separate entries, or as one whole house.
The house also has a yard.
There is frontside parking for two vehicles, and a handy Ford "Focus wagon" could be supplied as well.
Based on arrival date, pickup in Vancouver and drive up to Squamish could be arranged free of charge.

• Pre-Olympics (Feb 01/2010 to Feb 9/2010) –$1000/nt
• 2010 Olympics (Feb 10/2010 to Mar 01/2010) –$1500/nt
• Paralympics (Mar 01/2010 to Mar 31/2010) - $750/nt
Rates can be negociated for prolonged rental period.
ALL RATES QUOTED IN CDN DOLLARS
25% deposit is required upon confirmation of rental, with another 25% due in September 2009,
and the balance is due and payable one week prior to stay.
