Rent 2010 advertises (i) Vancouver-area homeowners offering their homes for rent during Winter 2010; and (ii) Parties seeking accommodation for their visits to the Vancouver-Whistler area in 2010.

Rent 2010 is strictly an accommodation listings service (for classified ads dealing with short-term rentals). Rent 2010 does not act as an "agent" or "property manager". Rent2010.net does not verify, and cannot be expected to verify, the accuracy of details contained in the classified ads. By advertising on Rent2010.net or by responding to postings on Rent2010.net, you alone are responsible for any losses arising from your use of this site.

A regular Homeowner listing on Rent2010.net involves a one-time fee of $35.00 payable by PayPal (PayPal accepts credit cards). Accommodation-Seeker listings on Rent2010.net are FREE.

ADDING A NEW LISTING AS A HOMEOWNER

A regular Homeowner listing on Rent2010.net involves a one-time fee of $35.00 payable by PayPal (PayPal also accepts credit cards). A significant portion of revenues are used to purchase advertising to maximize exposure for the Rent2010.net listings.

Your full-page listing may include a Title, Description, and up to six photos (each photo not to exceed 800 x 800 px in dimensions, and 1 Megabyte in size). All listings are reviewed to ensure that they comply with the Listings Guidelines, and (if accepted) are published within 48 hours, and will remain on the site until June 2010 (or until removed by owner). If your submitted listing is rejected for any reason, I will promptly refund your payment.

Listings must describe an individual rental unit, and not multiple units. External weblinks may be accepted (at my discretion) if directly relevant to the property being advertised.

Submitting a new Homeowner listing involves five steps:

1. REGISTER by chosing a Username and entering your Email and full name;
2. CHECK YOUR E-MAIL for instructions on how to choose your Password;
3. SUBMIT AD and enter your Title, Description, and up to 6 Photos;
4. SUBMIT $35.00 FEE on the PayPal website (PayPal accepts credit cards);

Your listing will be published within 48 hours of submitting your details and Listing Fee. Listings on Rent2010.net are displayed by descending order of publication date (most recent ads first).

ADDING A NEW LISTING FOR ACCOMMODATION-SEEKERS

Accommodation-Seeker listings on Rent2010.net are FREE.

Follow Steps #1, #2, and #3 as described above for HOMEOWNERS. Your free listing as an Accommodation Seeker if accepted will be added within 48 hours.

MODIFYING AN EXISTING LISTING?


Modifying an existing listing can be done at any time. There are two ways in which a previously-published Homeowner listing can be modified:

1. BASIC CHANGES (FREE) - Revisions to an existing Homeowner listing will be made at no charge. The revised listing will be displayed in the list in accordance with its original publication date (not its revision date).

2. REPUBLISH AD ($12.50) - Optionally, Homeowner listings may be republished using the current date for a $12.50 charge. Because recent listings tend to be viewed more often, republishing your listing in this way can increase visits to your page.

Listings on Rent2010.net are displayed by descending order of publication date (most recent ads first). Therefore, a periodic republishing of your listing may boost your listing's exposure by returning it to the top of the list.

Steps to Modify Listing
1. Log In to the My Ads section:
Name: Password:

2. Click on the title of your listing that you wish to modify; and,
3. Submit your changes.
4. Choose between "BASIC CHANGES" (free) or "REPUBLISH AD" (12.50).

Your revised listing will be reviewed and published within 48 hours. Please note that after submitting revisions, your listing will temporarily disappear from Rent2010.net (until republication).

Feature Rental Spots are the photo ads found in the left-hand margin of Rent 2010's eleven most popular navigation pages. Feature Rentals are an optional add-on service available to those homeowners wishing to gain even more exposure for their properties.
